Doctor Who Scarf - Series 6
This scarf was only featured momentarily in "A Christmas Carol," but attracted the attention to many Doctor Who fans, especially knitters who were familiar with the "Tom Baker Scarves."
Unfortunately we are unable to see the entire scarf, so I would assume that there will eventually be different variations for the ends of the scarf. Here is what I am planning:
*5 skeins Knit Picks Swish DK in Garnet Heather
*4 skins Knit Picks Swish DK in Grain Heather (I just learned this will be discontinued)
*3 skeins Knit Picks Swish DK in Dove Heather
*size 5 knitting needles
(It was an estimate on the amount of yarn- I will have plenty left over)
Scarf Layout
I casted on 40 stitches which gave me a width of 7 inches.
Garnet 72 rows
Dove 20 rows

For a total of 992 rows and an approximate length of just under 8.25 feet before blocking.
Tassels optional and enjoy!
Blogger isn't letting me get in and edit, but the yarn amount is enough for two scarves. If you want just one scarf, it takes 3 of Maroon, 3 of Gold and 2 of Grey (with plenty Grey left over).
